Mail

Mail built on your own domain.

Create real mailboxes, aliases and forwarding on a domain you control. The platform poses the four DNS records that make a message verifiable, keeps your attachments, and lets the agent read and write from the same inbox — with your approval on every send.

What you get

Everything a real inbox
has to have.

Not a relay with your name in the reply-to. Addresses on your domain, signed by a key that is yours, with the records that let any receiver verify them.

Mailboxes and aliases

An address per person, aliases that land in the same box, and up to five forwarding destinations. Reserved names like postmaster and abuse stay with us, because we answer for them.

Authentication, posed for you

MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC written in one call, each for a reason: a hard SPF fail because a soft one lets spoofing through, a 2048-bit DKIM key, and a DMARC policy that starts permissive so it cannot break your mailing lists on day one.

Attachments that are kept

Parts are stored in your own object storage and served through links that expire, so a reader left open renews them rather than leaking them. A part too large to keep never costs you the message.

Faces and signatures

An address book where you set a correspondent's name and photo, falling back to the domain's own public logo and never to a third party that would learn who writes to you. Your signature can carry its image inside the message, so it shows without « load remote content ».

Included

Mailboxes come with
the plan.

Mail is a paid service: the free plan does not carry it. The number of mailboxes comes from your plan, never from the request, and aliases and forwarding are not counted against it.

Questions

Mail, in detail.

Can I keep my current mail provider?

Yes. Put IaGenify on a subdomain and your apex keeps serving mail exactly where it does today. The apex and a subdomain are separate hosts with separate records and separate keys, and neither touches the other.

Who signs my outgoing mail?

You do. The DKIM key is generated for your host and the signature carries your domain, not ours. That is the whole reason a relay is acceptable at all: moving to a different one later re-verifies no domain and changes no record in your zone.

What happens to an address that does not exist?

It is refused during the conversation, before the message is accepted. Taking it and bouncing afterwards would send a rejection to a sender who usually never wrote it, and that is what destroys an IP's reputation for every customer at once.

Are attachments kept?

Yes, in your own object storage, with links that expire after fifteen minutes and are renewed by the reader. A mailbox has no separate allowance: what it receives counts against that one storage, so there is a single number to watch rather than two that can disagree. If a part cannot be stored — quota full, or simply too large — the message still arrives; only that part is missing a link.

Which plans include mail?

Go, with one mailbox, and Starter, with three. The free plan has no mail at all — it cannot create a mailbox or enable mail on a domain. Extra mailboxes are $3 a month, about 300 credits, on either paid plan.

Can I control what recipients see beside my name?

Only partly, and honestly: that circle is drawn by the recipient's own client from its own data. The one standard that influences it needs an enforced DMARC policy and a trademark certificate that costs around a thousand dollars a year, so the platform will tell you plainly when it cannot deliver what you asked for.
